Nezisková organizace Chapter Zero s pro bono podporou společnosti Berkeley spustila novou sadu nástrojů pro správní rady, která má nevýkonným členům správních rad (NED) pomoci včas přijmout pozitivní a rozhodné kroky v oblasti změny klimatu a přechodu na nulovou čistou spotřebu.

The practical toolkit offers NEDs checklists, key questions, detailed areas of action, and further resources under the following five steps:

  1. Ensure the right board oversight
  2. Establish the need for change
  3. Set direction and plan the change
  4. Embed and sustain the change
  5. Monitor and optimise.

Our non-executive director members are currently grappling with a wide range of climate and business issues and are in a strong position to drive the change we need in the net zero transition. This Board Toolkit is designed to provide practical steps to help them with this challenge.”

Julie Baddeley, Chapter Zero’s Chair Of The Board said, “Our non-executive director members are currently grappling with a wide range of climate and business issues and are in a strong position to drive the change we need in the net zero transition. This Board Toolkit is designed to provide practical steps to help them with this challenge.”

Berkeley provides pro bono strategy and change management expertise.

Berkeley developed the toolkit pro bono as part of its commitments to sustainability and corporate responsibility. A dedicated consultant drew together proven strategy and change management techniques alongside the latest climate-related research and evidence base.

Berkeley also provided pro bono support to Chapter Zero to develop a previous version of the Board Toolkit, which launched in 2019.
