The future of business is circular, and there’s no room for waste in it. Factor 10, WBCSD’s new circular economy program, aims to bring circularity into heart of business leadership and practice.

Our goal is to build a critical mass of engagement within and across business to move the circular economy to deliver and scale solutions needed to build a sustainable world.

In order to reach Vision 2050 in which not a particle of waste exists, eco-efficiency of materials must improve by a factor of 10. This target was previously referenced by the Factor10 Institute in 1994 when they called for the ten-fold improvement in resource efficiency.
