What are the key challenges and opportunities of circularity in the food chain? What lessons and good examples can we learn from the international context? And what benefits can a circular model bring to current, inadequate food systems?

The final event of the project named INCIEN: Circular Food Futures in cooperation with the Norwegian partner CIVAC will take place on October 23 in the Circular Hub, Kampus Hybernská, Hybernská 998/4, Prague 1.

The Institute of Circular Economy (INCIEN), which has been researching resource utilisation, circular practices and decarbonisation of industries, will present the findings from its investigation into the value chain of the food sector.

The project team will present the key obstacles identified as barriers to transitioning to a circular economy in the Czech food sector. Our international partner CIVAC will share Norwegian experiences and expertise, offering insights and inspiration relevant to the Czech context.

The event will be held in English.
