Erika Duchanová graduated from the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts University of Ostrava. She has worked in a number of managerial positions in the automotive and engineering industry, and in finance. In 2010 and 2012 she was the chair of the media committee of the ČLFA and in 2010 she was a finalist in the Manager of the Year competition. For the past 4 years she has worked for recycling companies, specifically for Mangan Chvaletice 2019-2020 and Nafigate Corporation. In the latter, she was responsible for the Hydal Coffee project as Project Manager.
