Legal, transparent, deforestation-free forest products – making informed procurement decisions

Join us for an introduction to the WRI & WBCSD’s Sustainable Procurement Guide for Wood and Paper-based Products.Ruth Nogueron, of the World Resources Institute and Uta Jungermann, of the WBCSD, will discuss how to make informed choices on forest products and how to use the guide to develop or improve your sourcing policy for paper, packaging or furniture and other products derived from forests. The Guide is designed to help you implement and deliver on critical supply chain commitments to eliminate deforestation and thereby incentivize sustainable forest management.

The webinar is particularly prepared for corporate procurement managers that purchase wood and paper-based product and is intended to give participants useful information to apply in business immediately. Corporate leaders will also join the webinar to share their experiences in using the Guide.

We will offer three 90 minute sessions until the end of this year, please register for the date and time that works best for you:
